About the sector
Logistics is the work of moving and storing goods: from factories to warehouses, from warehouses to shops, and more and more often straight to a customer’s door. Every online order, truckload of supplies and courier parcel depends on people who receive, store, pack, track and deliver goods correctly.
The growth of e-commerce and organised retail has made logistics a steady source of entry-level jobs. Delhi NCR, with its many warehouses and transport hubs, is one of the busiest logistics regions in the country.
