Media and entertainment covers films, television, animation, visual effects (VFX), gaming, advertising, digital media, music and print. Indian studios create content for audiences at home and also take on animation and VFX work for productions abroad.

The growth of online video, streaming platforms and social media means that brands, studios and even small businesses need a steady flow of designs, videos and animated content. This has opened entry points for young people who have creative interest and good software skills.
