Taking information to the community
Our professional ground team keeps spreading awareness in society so that people get the maximum benefit from the opportunities available to them. Many young people and families do not know which skills are in demand, what training is available or how to choose a career path. Our ground team helps close that gap.
What our ground team does
- Mobilisation: meeting young people and their families to explain skill training and the careers it can lead to.
- Information on opportunities: sharing information about sectors that are hiring and the job roles in them.
- Career awareness: encouraging young people to take career guidance through our “My Career My Choice” initiative.
- Safe job search: helping people recognise fake job offers and placement scams.
Mobilisation is part of the baseline survey we carry out before every programme, so that training reaches the people who can benefit from it most.
