Website Security Policy

How SkillMan protects this portal and the information you share through it, and how to report a security vulnerability responsibly.

Our approach

SkillMan InfoCorp Private Limited built this portal in-house and takes the security of the portal, and of the information you share through it, seriously. We use technical and organisational measures to protect it.

Secure connection

The portal is served over HTTPS, so information travelling between your browser and our server is encrypted. Look for the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar before you submit a form.

Protecting our forms and data

  • Our forms are protected against cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and the information entered is checked before it is accepted.
  • The portal does not collect payment, bank or card details.
  • Personal data submitted through forms can be seen only by authorised staff, according to their role.

Access control for staff

  • The admin panel is for authorised staff only, and each staff member uses their own account.
  • Access is role-based, so staff can view and change only what their role requires.
  • Staff must use strong passwords and keep their login details confidential.
  • Staff accounts are reviewed regularly and removed when they are no longer needed.

Updates, backups and testing

  • The software that runs the portal is kept up to date with security updates.
  • Regular backups of the portal’s content and data are taken, so that it can be restored if something goes wrong.
  • The portal is tested for common security weaknesses before major changes go live, and its security is reviewed regularly.

Handling security incidents

If we become aware of a security incident, we will act promptly to contain it and will inform affected users and the relevant authorities where the law requires.

Your part

  • Keep your reference number and mobile number private.
  • Remember that this portal never asks for bank, card or payment details.
  • Use an up-to-date browser.

Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security weakness in the portal, please email info@skillmaninfocorp.com with “Security vulnerability” in the subject line. Include the page address, a description of the issue and the steps to reproduce it.

While investigating or reporting, please do not access, change or delete other people’s data, do not disrupt the portal, and do not share details of the issue publicly until we have had a reasonable time to fix it. We will acknowledge your report, investigate it and keep you informed of our progress.
